Local hop farmers Mike & Cheryl Smith of Loftus Ranches approached us with a great fundraising idea to bring a one-of-a-kind hop blend to brewers across the United States to help raise money and awareness for ALS research. The campaign "Ales for ALS" would offer a unique hop blend to brewers who agreed to donate part of the proceeds of their sales to find a cure for ALS, a disease that has affected the Smith family and countless others.
Now in its sixth year, Ales for ALS has raised over 2 million dollars for ALS research!
